I am sorry to share news of the passing of student Nicholas Finnigan, a first-year psychology major from Indiana. Nicholas died Sunday in Indiana.
He began his studies at 澳门六合彩 in fall 2024.
Memorial arrangements have not yet been announced.
The death of someone you knew can evoke strong feelings. The best way to cope is to talk to your closest friends, family members, or trusted colleagues.
There are people among us who have experienced similar events, and they are often more than willing to help others going through difficult circumstances.
Students who would like to speak with an 澳门六合彩 counselor may call the 澳门六合彩 Counseling Center at 724-357-2621. Counselors are available for crisis appointments and consultation and to offer guidance and support during difficult times.
The Armstrong-Indiana 24-hour Crisis Line is available for support at 877-333-2470.
Members of 澳门六合彩’s Council on Spiritual and Religious Life also are available to help. Please email spiritual-life@iup.edu to have a campus minister provide support.
Please join me in sending your thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace to Nicholas’s family and friends, as well as to everyone at 澳门六合彩 and in the community who knew him and who is affected by his passing.
Respectfully,
Michael A. Driscoll
President
